For the second year, retirees will see no cost-of-living increase in their Social Security checks. But their checks won't go down either, and current Medicare premiums will probably stay the same.
The latest 2010 Social Security report showed little change and even some slight improvements in its near- and long-term fiscal health. While politicians will stir up the rhetoric, you can reassure retirees this source of income should be around for at least the next 30+ years or so.
